1G will this wheel hit the stock struts?

Probably beating a dead horse, but I haven't found anything specific to my question. Im planning to order a set of 16x7.5 +42 wheels with 225/50 tires, will they clear the stock struts or will I need coils? Car is a 91 Talon tsi, lowered on eibach springs. Ive done all the offset calculations etc but real world is always a little different, I plan on doing coilovers in the near future but I want to be able to wait a little while. Thanks.

I would say you are good. My evo rims are 17x8 with a 38mm offset (stock ride height) 235/45/17 stock offset is 46mm (I'm sure you know). Since I have no problems, you "shouldn't" either since your offset is in between. Hope that helps.

picked em up today from Tire Rack, only had a chance to test fit the front but they clear the struts no prob!
