I purchased this from a member, who got it in a trade. My car is currently not with me so I can't see how this would possibly work??

Member said he would refund if it didn't work, but I am curious on your guy's thoughts. "Welded on by the way".

No way to tell until you try to mount it honestly, but the gauge is gonna be facing the firewall. :p

Ya, thats what I was figuring. I honestly really liked the idea of just having it welded on. Kinda why I bought it. I think I will have to trim the timing belt cover a tad, or just remove it.

Could this have been for an evo? I noticed under the hood of one everything is backwards from ours.

no because the afpr would have been in the way of the feed line it should be on the return side as it is and im sure it will work fine and im also sure it will fit looks just like my friends setup on his 1gb daily driver.

you will be fine just put it on the car and go from there also dont just remove the timing cover unless you want to remove the motor because a rock went in the belt and ruined your motor.:nono::notgood:

I was running no timing belt cover and rallying for awhile, didn't have that problem.(Previous owner thought thats where the weight reduction should come from...:banghead: ) But I agree, DONT TAKE THE TIMING BELT COVER OFF FOR DRIVING, I bought one just for ease of mind.

LOL i have also drove a dsm daily without a timing cover but i also payed 400 for the whole car i didnt care i would never NEVER try it with my current dsm its just not worth the chance we spend to much time and money on these piles of junk as it is and still have tons of problems but hey o well they are addictive :hellyeah:

one day we will all learn haha maybe not!
