Montreal,
Ok I've decided to re-drop my car since the Eibach pro-kit barely did anything on my 1G AWD. I'm gonna go with Megan springs which should have it sit a little nicer. My question is will my tires have enough clearance between the fenders? My wheel offset is 45mm on a 7.55" rim. The tires are 225/45R17. I would like to get a front/rear camber kit and run the tires as "square" as possible for even wear. I'm ready to buy the springs TONIGHT from extremepsi but I don't wanna be setting myself up for failure. I know that dropping the car further with the megan springs will push the wheels out even more no? I'm scared the 45 off set wheels with 225 tires and a 2" drop will require excessive camber to keep them tucked in on a 1G and I don't want to wear my tires out funny..

I would go against Megan springs also. i speak from their coil over kit. Rides like ass. Springs are WAY TOO STIFF. I am going with Swift springs for my coilover setup.

Those wheels are not that wide or big, shouldn't be a problem clearing any drop unless you decided to just dump the car right to the ground than any wheel will have problems..

Don't go with meagan springs. They are cheap for a reason. They ride like ass.

As for they question. IDK man, i've only had the stockers.

How can you say they ride like ass if you've never owned them? I have a buddy with Megan Racing Springs, lowers about 1.75in ~ 2.00in front/rear - some KYB GR-2s and it rides surprisingly nice? He has a finger or less clearance in the front and his tires never rub unless turning to the right...but that fender is messed up as is.

I have a set of H&R Racing Springs which are suppose to be pretty nice, if my struts weren't as worn they'd probably feel better than the Megans but that's not the point.

OP - whatever you do - don't cheap out on something as important as your springs. Megan would be a bare minimum!

Well I bought eibach Pro Kit's and they barely dropped my car at all!! I can fit a whole fist in there!!

I want to re-drop it before I pay for an alignment.. Also with regards to clearing with a 2" drop, I still want to run standard camber.
