Will EVO AFPR and install kit work on my 2g?

I am about to buy and install a AFPR on my '96 TSi. My question is; would say, an Aeromotive adjustable fuel pressure regulator and install kit from an EVO bolt right up to my 2g fuel rail? I ask because the only performance shop near my house only deal with EVO's and Sti's and turn their nose up at my 2g's. I've heard of people using an EVO fuel rail on a 2g so any confirmation of this compatability would be much appreciated.

Just get the one specifically for a 2g dsm. If you are worried about installing it, jjrock 5 has a 2 part video on youtube of pretty much how to install it. It is a very easy thing to do.

I was just trying to eliminate the time between online ordering and waiting for the P.O. by buying it directly. But if I must I must.

Most of the reputable sites like extremepsi or maperformance to name a few, will have it shipped out and at your door most likely in about 3 days. I have personally bought from both vendors, and had GREAT success in getting my parts in time.

The afpr should work but the install kit would use different fuel rail fitting.
