Resolved Will a turbo tranny (f5m33) bolt up to a 420a motor?

Ok. Ive been looking online for a few hours now and cant get a solid answer on this one. My very basic question is... will a turbo tranny (f5m33) bolt up to a 420a motor without any issues? I have a 99 GS with a 420a in it, and I have access to a great condition 98 gst 5spd (f5m33) tranny. What issues would i be looking at?

It will not bolt up. You could use a trans from a neon though. Here's a list of bolt on trans.

you will have to swap bell housings on any transmission in that list that has a cable for the clutch so you can keep the hydraulic clutch.

Also swapping to on of the trans on the far right gives you a taller first gear and a trans capable of holding more power.
