will a 4g63 fit on a 2g non turbo gs

hey this is my first post i have a 95 eclipse gs auto. i want to put a 4g63 engine in my eclipse will it even fit in there.

Ok first of all Welcome to DSMtuners.com and before you get hated on by many people look at the N/T performance section because this is covered in there or use the SEARCH function.

Second, yes it will fit but many people will say it would be easier to just sell your car and buy a GST/GSX or just turbo the 420A (engine in 95-99 RS/GS). This is not a honda swap these engines have NOTHING in common and you will pretty much need to find a donor car from a junkyard and take out EVERYTHING from it

Do you currently have the 420A Motor? If so you might just consider selling the car and buying a GS-T or GSX or TSi even. From what I hear it's the cheapest way to go. I guess it can cost you 3-5K to do a proper 420a to 4G63 swap. Their are a TON of parts that you wouldn't think about involved in it.

I personally want a 2G just to have a good looking streeter. I'm just waiting for a fair priced non modded GSX to come around.
