So far i havnt been able to find out an awnser on what size MAP i will need to run speed density. 3, 3.3, or 5? I am going to be running around 25psi until i put in my build bottom end then 30+psi out of a BW s362 and was told a 3 bar would not be enough. I have a MAFT PRO right now but if i ever get a good enough deal on V3 when they have a complete SD setup i might look into that. All im looking for is will a 3 bar MAP be big enough or will i need to go bigger.

3bar map sensor is good for 29.4psi. Just get the 5bar if you're running 30psi+

Yeah, go with a 5 bar MAP. MAP sensors are measured by absolute pressure, not gauge, so a 5 bar sensor will read to roughly 4 bar of boost.

Also, if you want to run speed density now, look into swapping in an Evo 8 ECU, Evo 8 in 2g works!. It is available now and would save you some money on DSMLink.

There is a lot less bullshit than you think but it is your decision. A lot of guys that go speed density are using an Omni 5 bar map. It appears to be a quality unit at a great price. You can find it on ebay as well as all sorts of other places.

Never knew Omni had a 5 bar iv only seen AEM and dont want to spend $150 right now.
