ok i wanted to know if 550cc injectors would be good enough for my set up. i have a 93 gsx that i just finished a 6bolt swap in and before i go out and start having some fun just wanted to see what you guys think, im gonna be running 20 psi, on 93 octane, 190 pump, afpr, s-afc, big 16g, ported 2g manifold, external gate, 3in turbo back exhaust, no cat, slow boy front mount, 2g maf, and i have a data logger on the way. let me know if you need more info thanks guys!!

Yup you will have more than enough fuel for that turbo. Have fun :)

I completly dissagree. A 16g can easily max out 550cc injectors and a 190lph FP.

I always recommend at least 650cc injectors. They are only about $20 more than 550's, they are as easy to tune as the 550's, so there isn't any reason no to go bigger.

As far as boost in concerned, you really need to look at airflow if you want to know when you are approaching the limits of your system. You can run 50psi, but if you only push 10 lbs/min of air the pump and injectors will be fine.

On the other hand, if you run 20psi and are pushing 40lbs/min, you have just overun your FP.

The 190 FP is only good for airflow around 35 lbs/min and the 550's will cover you up to around 40 lbs/min. :thumb:

Keep in mind that 35 lbs/min is VERY EASY to reach with the 16g. I'm still on the stock cat back and I'm hitting 32.5 lbs/min at 6200rpm running 20psi.
