Will a 2.25" coupler fit on a 2.0" and 2.5" pipes?

My turbo is on the way but I need a 90 degree bend to attach it to the LICP, which is toward the passenger side. The turbo outlet on the compressor is 2.0", and my IC piping is 2.5". I found a 2.25" 90 degree silicone bend that's close to me, but I'm having trouble finding a 2.0"-2.5" reducer 90 degree elbow for cheap. Does anyone know if the 2.25 ends will fit over a 2.5" intercooler pipe, and also tighten down securely on a 2.0" turbo outlet?

I have done it before with no problems. all I did was put another smaller piece of rubber hose (cut to be 1" long from stock hose) underneath the 2.5" hose and tightened it down and it work just fine. I learned this one from Road Race. :p

I ve had to do the same thing with one of my intercooler couplers as a temporary basis untill I got the correct size or tiny bit larger and let me tell you it was not fun the dang thing kept poping off every so often and the car would start to smoke and misfire and not acelerating  and I would have to stop anf take ut a tool and fix it once more so I would not recomend it as a permanent solution maybe a temp but you can get the correct size you need anywhere I got mine from extrmepsi.com and they where of very high quality and look very durable good price as well. :thumb:

Ok, so I've got that a 2.25 will fit on a 2.0, but will a 2.25 stretch onto a 2.5" intercooler pipe?

Ahh the good old DSM mentality. People will spend 1000.00 on a turbo and 500.00 on cams then when it comes to 40.00 for a coupler they are suddenly broke. This brings to midn this good old saying:

Why is there never enough money to do it right, but more than enough money to do it again?

Give that a shot. It even comes with T bolt clamps.

It might but that is not a good idea.

Wow, I searched ebay pretty thoroughly, don't know how I missed that one. They also happen to be about 15 minutes from me, looks like I'm just gonna go pick it up! Thanks! :thumb:

better question..

how do you get the 3inch couplers on the 3inch gm maf... ROFL

If your serious....you need a coupler slightly above 3". I know there are custom ones out there. I use 3.25" couplers. The I.D. of the Maf is 3",

I have never had that problem. I boosted 26 psi on my evo3 and never blew a hose.
