Will 98 CAS work in a 95 Eclipse???

Hi,

I've intalled the 98 CAS to work with both my cam gears from HKS, although when I tried to start the car, it did not start.

I believe I might be facing some problem with the firing order to start my car, I double check all my wires, even compare to a friend of mine which does have a 98 eclipse, and still does not work.

Does any one have performed this change instead of the full 1G swap?

Is there any special check that I should make?

I'm running a AEM EMS, however I want to make the first start with the original ECU to see if everything is in order.

Thanks but, the text was done for 1G CAS not 98 CAS as I mentioned, the one that I have have only 3 wires.

Does anyone knows, if it's possible to use this 98 sensor in a 95 motor? If yes can I have the wires diagrams?

I've checked again the installation and still the car won't start.

I am not sure myself, but what was wrong with the 95 one? Try using one of them again.

There is nothing wrong, but in order to use HKS Cam gear the sensor cannot be placed in the same spot as it was in the past.

By the way it work, I just have to change the spark plugs on the coil to a different firing order.

The CAS signal has to be inverted or it'll fire backwards of what it's supposed to. DSMLink has this ability (and incidentally it was turned on by accident). The results were really really high EGTs as a result of the combustion occuring in my manifold.
