just like it says, i have never worked on a 420a but my buddy has one and wants my injectors. will it work?

They fit though the 420A injectors use an o-ring at the base that is held in place with a groove in the injector, the 4g63 injectors use a hard rubber "gromet" type seal at the base that does not fit in the 420A manifold. You have to use the 420A o-ring on the 4g63 injectors but there is really nothing but friction and luck to keep it from being sucked into the manifold. At the very least make sure to use new o-rings when installing them and if you can figure out a good way to keep them from moving around that would be advised too ;)

so i can pull out the injector that are in there and take off the rubber pieces and stick them on the 450s?

That is to make them fit yes, but you'll still have to rewire them to use the resistor pack from the 4g63 as well as have some way to control them. We all assumed that you are prepared for that since you think you need bigger injectors.
