Will 245/45/16 fit on a 1G?

Did a search and can't find a definate answer.

I have a set if 16x8 VOLK TE37's with a +38 offset.

Will these rims with 245/45/16 tires fit on a 1G?

They should fit. I run a 17x9 +40 with 255/40/17 and they clear. I see no need to clearance anything in the front and rear to fit. Why not just slap them on if you have them already? And if not, sell them to me!...haha

Make sure that your rear trailing arm (if AWD) clears the tire. My wheels are 17" X 8" with 235X45X17, the clearance is about 3mm.

what offset are you running. It's all on offset

Ooops! I forgot the offset, it is 35mm.

I think you should have more than 3mm clearance. My 17x9 +37 rears have more that that much clearance, then again I did grind the trailing arm down about 4mm. We'll see how my 16x7.5 +42 with 255/50/16 fit when I get the tires mounted
