will 1g cv axles work on a 2g?

i have a friend with a junk 1g talon awd. the front cv axles(drive shafts) are perfect and i was wonder if they will work on my 1997 gst. thanks ahead of time!

If I remember right they wont if its from a 90 to 92 but if its a 93 to 94 it should fit but that's only for fwd.now awd to fwd idk if its the same.

They wont i think their shorter and they wont seat well and tranny fluid will start leaking from the joint.

AWD and fwd are different axles. The AWD has equal length axles. The fwd has a longer axle on the driver side. Passengers side, within the same generation, are the same, if memory serves. I don't remember if 1g will work on 2g or vice versa.
