Okay the car is a 96 gst with a t28 and 2.5 dp and exhaust the only other real mod is air filter and a high flow in tank fuel pump here the problem the car runs good idles fine and runs at about 16psi no problems runs great the one issue it has is once the car is warmed up if you hold the car say at 2500 rpm in third gear about 35 to 40 mph it will after 10 seconds or so misifre for a instant then the 02 gauge will go completly lean and the car has no power if you push in the clutch let the car idle back down everything goes back to normall untill it does it again the same thing happens in any gear over 2cnd if you hold it around 2k to 3500. any ideas?

If you're talking about 255 fuel pump, it's possible that it's over running the stock fpr. You need a AFPR to keep the fuel pressure under control.

Unfortunatly i dont know the person before me did most the mods on this one i bought it not running with a electrical problem and am fixing all the little problems he caused is there any way to tell what it is? All i know is its a loud fuel pump comparied to the factory.

I was able to get a hold of the original owner heres what he stated for mods
255 WALBORO FUEL PUMP
* BIG 28 TURBO FROM TURBOTRIX
* FIRST GENERATION BLOW OFF VALVE
* SHORT SHIFTER
* ACT CLUTCH SYSTEM
* 2.5 apex dp and cat back
I hope this helps ive thought about the posibility of to high of fuel pressure as he was at see level and im about 1 mile high wich would probably make it more noticble at this level what i dont understand is why the a/f gague goes to lean after it happens any ideas?

Aside from removing it and check, I don't think so. You can however get a fuel pressure gauge setup that bolts on to your stock fuel filter and double check the pressure level.

It sounds like youve done this before what fpr would be a good choice and any idea what i would want the pressure set at?

1. Stay away from the B&M Commend Flow because it only allows you to adjust up, not down.

2. If you're on the budget go with the fullthrottle as it bolts on to the stock rail. However there seems to be mix reviews and always on back order.

3. I'm using a AEM silver, similar to the SX and Aeromotive units. You will need ss return line kit which will add about another $80 or so.

Which ever you choose, you'll need to spent another $30 or so for a gauge. The base setting for a 2G is around 44psi. This article should be a good guide line. http://www.vfaq.com/mods/FPR.html Good luck.

okay did a bunch of testing and it ends up injector on cylinder 3 quits firing when you hold it at 2500 or so after the car warms up once you let it back to idle it comes back to life i tried to change out the injectors same issue so my questions is has anyone come across this i bas to see hwsically have the resistors wich realy shouldnt be able to cause that or the ecu if any one has ran across this or has any ideas i would apreciate it im going to put the osiliscope on the injector wires tommarow to see what hapens when it shuts down
