i have a 95 stang that runs healthy 13.6-13.7 1/4 mile times and is capable of high 12's with a new head and cam ($1200). i am debating on selling it and gettin a dsm, most likely a 1g but preferably a 2g. i just wanted to know what some reasons are, in your opinion, why i should get a DSM?

Because they look soooo good, and them make a cool noise everytime you shift. ;)

You kinda have to ask yourself that. Obviously you are liking the dsm's for some reason if you are thinking about selling your stang for one.

Because I have walked all over you and your friends. Because you can get that confused and scared look from a Vette owner as you walk on my. Make that guy with the 500SL look slow and stupid while his women eyes you. Pick one or all and you need'nt ask.

Happy Hunting...

well because....
A) mustangs are retarted in a lot of peoples opinions
B) mustang drivers are generally (and very stereotyped as) a**hole drivers
C) mustangs ARE restarted and ugly!
D) EVERYONE has a mustang
E) mustangs are NOT the end all be all to cars
F) its funny to spank muscle cars when there engine is twice as big
G) dsms are a very good bang for the buck, and one of the better imports for dragging
H) AWD is great :)
I) a mustang is...well....a mustang
J) mustangs are retarted in a lot of peoples opinions

ok maybe I was a little cruel, as you can imagine i dont like mustangs, so of coarse im going to say get a dsm. be aware the talk of maintenance seems true, so expect reapirs when you get power, but you would anyway unless you werent very smart.

finding a 2g AWD for cheap is hard, I can tell you that first hand, but if you got money go for that, and swap a 6bolt in there and you will be good. otherwise just get a very early 1g with a 6bolt in it.

dump the mustang, you know you dont like the car :dsm:

If you're asking that question, you shouldn't. Since the Mustang hasn't taught you that street cars aren't dragsters, DSMs will be nothing but excruciating grief for you.

Oh, and only retards say "retart".
