My talon is a 94 tsi. It has an automatic tranny. I hold the brake down ans the rear end hunkers down, but when i let go out the brake it just dogs out, and doesn't launch at all... What can i do to solve this... Thanks

Simple enough haha. It only has a buschur racing cat back exhaust, bore .3o over and a 16g turbo. Next plans are a front mount inter cooler, and manifold back exhaust, and 680cc injectors.

Sounds more like you have work to do? When was the last time the car had a tune up? Whats all done to it? More than stock power shouldnt be the issue. I had a friend who bought a 91 tsi from an older lady. Completely stock and it would launch just fine. Granted it wasnt fast, but it didnt studder, didnt bog. Its pulled just fine.

There is no need for injectors without a way to tune. Your next mods should be :

Proper Gauges
Logging Tools
Tuning Tools.

A boost gauge is as simple as it gets. If you want the logging and tuning all in one, I'd recommend grabbing Link and getting what you currently have dialed in before you start tossing parts at the car, wildly. You'd be surprised by the difference I dial in with Link can make on an engine, even a stock one.

Alright sounds good i heard the stock boost gauge doesn't always read correctly

It is NO WHERE near accurate. In fact... the gauge is the ECU's best guess as to what's going on. I would have to shake my head at anyone who has installed a larger turbo, hell... anyone on the stock turbo, who has turned up the boost and relied on the stock boost gauge to tell them an accurate boost level.

I dont think it has ever been tuned.. So that is something im gonna have to look into. But my car runs fine no spits or hiccups.

Absolutely! The stock one is using an electrical estimation of load and airflow which is not even close to as accurate as a mechanical boost guage reading actual boost pressure.

Hey, that's always a good start. Absolutely no negative feedback coming from me on that, but you really should look into getting the basics down before you go forward with any more mods. At least pick up a boost gauge and a way to log so you can see what's going on ECU-wise. A perfect next set of mods to pick up would be.

Boost Gauge
Wideband Setup
ECMlink

These will allow you to get more accurate readings of what's going on with the engine and help you to keep it healthy without blowing it sky-high. Trust me, a healthy engine is better to make power on than an engine you 'think' is healthy.

Yea that makes perfect sense. If i was running to much boost would that cause a head gasket to blow??

You could :

1 : Blow a Head Gasket
2 : Lift the Head
3 : Hit fuel cut (not fun)
4 : All of the above.
