Hi there.
The first time I broke my centre shafts was with 25 psi on T3/To4e 60 trim, I broke the centre shaft teeth+the other shafts which is connected to this shafts, I was getting alot of wheel spin and I have to leave it littel bit at 1st and 2nd gear so when ever I shift to the 3rd it doesn't get into lag again and the tires hold back.

I got a new tranny from John Shippered, he got me new tranny from factory, added quaife+all his racing stuff so the tranny be better I never thought I'll break it again now I got the same problem with m fp3065 with 30 psi, why do I keep breaking the centre shaft teeth+the other shaft teeth the one connected to the centre shaft teeth, I believe I can't buy the teeth alone because this is connected to the shaft it self, I don't know about the other shafts, what does the other shafts called the two other shafts connected to the centre shaft?

Is there any racing one for FWD?
The reason I don't want to get AWD tranny because I race in the highway and need my tall ratio because I do reach the rev limiter at 5th gear.

John shippered doesn't make any racing shafts for FWDm TRE does for AWD don't know if the AWD shafts are the same as FWD, is there anyway not to break them?

I was fine in the drag when I got 11.88,12,22,12,8 and I used to launch near the rev limiter with clutch slip I never power shift with my tranny, I broke the shafts with street tires which hold better than Bfgoodrich drag radial it's mechilin 18/235/40 PS2 dry grip 9.5 out of 10

Last time some said it breaks because of wheel hub, what is it this time?
Is there anyway the tranny breaks because of power I don't think I have more than 450 wheel hp with my fp3065 because I'm still using S-AFC+MAFT+stock 1g short block

Please help me out any comments are acceptable
Thanks

Like I mentioned in the email to you. The awd trans is the way to go. I nor tre makes racing shafts for either the fwd or awd. Long back to back pulls is what fatigues the shafts. The fwd is very prone to this and there is nothing I or anyone else can do to solve this on the fwd gearbox. You may try running neo rhd.

What do I need to get the AWD tranny?
I should change my flywheel+clutch, what else is needed, can I use my quaife or should I buy a new quaife because this tranny isn't the same as FWD.

I think I'll leave the drag and stay with road, maybe the drag is putting alot of strees on my tranny.

As I said I don't power shift and I shift when ever I press all the clutch pedel but I shift fast as much as I can, I have B&M short shifter.

For now how can I fix my tranny?
Can you get me the center shaft+the other two shafts that are connected to each other?
I guess all these shafts comes with the theeth so no way I buy the theeth alone.

And how much for each?
Thanks Mr-John i do appreciat your help

That's obvious. I know Mitsubishi didn't design it with the prenotion that someone would be putting down 450+ hp and drag racing it.

Or trannys will fatigue after time. When my car was runing around 11.9@117 mph on pump. I would brake a gear about every 6 mons. I even started going in circles I would brke 3rd being cheep I would go in and fix just 3rd than a month later I would brake 4th. I found if I go to a tranny that was never in a fast car I would get about 5k out of one with it being WOT about 50% of the time. I bet my car I had more than 300 passes last year. I have now gone to the NEO RHD and have not broke any thing in 6mons probely only 3k, But my power is up over 100hp on street trim. With the ALC inj. Many racers have a maintence schedule on trannys. Every so many passes thay will go in and replace certan hard parts. My goal is to get 1yr out of a tranny and I am happy. What I am saying is your tranny is alway going to brake it is trying to get enough time out of it to make you happy. I would defently go to the RHD I was using redline MTL and even tried shockproof. The shockprooof did not shift good at all.

Thanks
