I was thinking about ordering a stage 3 to help with my 550cc, 16g, and stock 1g mas. Is there any people that are running this set-up or something similar without a AFC or such? Thanks for the help people! :dsm: :talon: :laser:

Several people are running w/o more adjustment....i would say you would need a safc to get it closer to perfect, but people are doing it. Email Jeff and he will let you know...good guy.

Do I have to use an AFC with my chip?
Generally, yes. Although the changes I make to the Global Fuel and MAS Compensation get VERY close, and make it easier to tune, it is still recommended that you have some tunability, such as an Air-Fuel computer or a GOOD adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator. In addition, every car is different, so you may require more/less fuel depending on your situation

If your injectors really flow what you think they do, then you will be tuned just as well as a stock car. That doesn't necessarily mean perfectly, but it gives you an idea.

I would think the more crazy your mod list is, the more adjustment might be needed. If you just replaced your injectors and a turbo, then it will be alot closer.
My two cents,
