Correct me if I am wrong, but the Gen1 v2.01 can accept a wideband's 0-5v out signal, but does it automatically tune it like it says the Gen2 does... and is it true the Gen2 can really do all the tuning/mapping for you!?!

no you cant do that with a 1st gen maft...

SO than just on the gen 2... but has anyone tried it, does it really work??? Just wondering because I would really like to use an NGK AFX wideband coupled with the Gen 2 MafT.

I would imagine you have to get it in the ballpark and the MAFT will home in on the exact setting. It works on the same principle as the Fuel Trims in the stock ECU. The factory gets it close and then makes small adjustments for each car as it changes.

Well I am wondering because the website says just set it up so the wide band signal goes in, than just set the A/F ratio and go... but I am kind of skeptical that this thing reacts that fast under wide open throttle.

"We have also added our "wideband tracking" technology to this unit. You can connect any populal wideband that has a 0-5 volt output on the controller and then you can set the desired A/F ratio across the RPM band at WOT. The Gen 2 will then track A/F and automatically adjust the fuel to keep the desired ratio. If the car leans out, the Gen 2 will add fuel and if the car runs rich it will remove fuel."

That is what the website says... but I see it also says "at wide open throttle"... where as that the PRO I believe has a setting where you can set the min AFR tracking at all the way down so it CONSTANTLY monitors the AFR... or is that impossible to do to it. You guys are being really helpful and I do want to thank you all for your help.
