toronto,
Just would like to know what VALVE SPRING/RETAINER KIT are you using with a set of 288 cams?

Manley valve train has been proven to be good. My SBR head has a Manley Valve train with my Crower 280s.

BC recommends their BC2100 kit for their 280, which is what i have. Im not sure what they recommend, but if i had to guess, it would be what blcknspo0ln just said-> Dual manleys or an equivalent.
