well i just put my engine back in it was running good before. the reason i took it out is because i was gonna change my crankshaft and the main bearings. So when it was all in i cranked it, it started but its misfiring really bad it makes explosions so i turned it off and their was white smokeand it smells like gas:confused:... i checked all TDC and the timing is right i have 39psi of fuel pressure i have spark in all 4 cylinders but when i take out my spark plugs their filled with gas:barf: PLEASE HELP!

I dont know how critical it is but haynes claims it should be 32psi most people say more like 37psi. Im not sure if it would make a difference but do you a AFPR where you could knock it down a few psi? You might also get an ohmeter and make sure your injector pulse is right and they arent holding open for some reason.

You should deffinatly test your injectors. See if they're opening to long, or if they're leaking. You don't want to hydro-lock you motor if you cyclinders are filling with gas.

well i have a new FPR and new fuel pump and the car was runing perfect on 39 psi how do i check if the injectors are staying open for too long? i have a digital multimeter but idk how much voltage or ohms it has to be sending..and the car starts when it wants too

oh and i dont have a AFPR
