White Smoke/ Runs Great!!!

Last night I G-Teched the car and ran a 13.5 @ 109mph. A bit after the run the car started blowing white smoke. the car turns on fine, idles fine, boosts fine, basically it runs fine. Today in the morning it turned on with no problem. I was reading 'round the forums and it sounds like it maybe my HKS metal head gasket, but dont know for sure. what else might it be? Thanks.

It could be a clogged PCV valve causing crankcase pressure to be too high..... I'd start there. Even if it doesnt fix the problem, it only costs $2.50. If that didnt fix the problem, then do a leak down test (not compression test) to determine if it's the headgasket.

If he does a compression test, it will not determine what the problem is. A leak down test will determine if it is a piston ring, head gasket, valve, or valve seal......

It was a valve guide from the 4th cylinder that had broken. Almost lost a ross piston! All good now running great. Thanks.
