Payed $500 for the car with a busted tranny. Parts that were already installed were a small 16g, 550's, spearco fmic, Tial Wastegate, and a 255 fuel pump. I Rebuilt the tranny myslef and did a complete tune-up. I have also installed an AFPR and short route ic piping.

Yes I did it myself. It's a product I got through the local body shop. I believe just liquid urathane adhesive. $14 a tube. i clamped the entire lip in place with like 50 clamps and straps after a healthy aplication of the stuff. This caused it to push out so I would have something to knock down and blend. After hours of sanding bam finito. The only problem is it's so flexable that some of the paint has cracked from me hitting the lip off dips and transitions. But phyiscally the adhesive has not cracked and everything is holding perfect!

Car was painted 2 weeks ago. 2 coats of base, 3 coats of clear. I wish I had a better camera, it looks just like glass. Wheels are off a 3G Eclipse, and I have a set of Tokico Illuminas shocks/springs waiting to go on. Not too bad for a $1000 car.

Haha, yea I know. It came that way when I bought it. Guy I bought it off of put on Eibach lowering springs, 2" drop, but kept the stock shocks. Rides rougher than hell. So 2 days after I bought the car I bought a complete set of Tokico springs/shocks that will bring it up 1". I just don't have the time to do it because of work, we are in the busy season right now and working 5 10's and some 8 hr saturdays. Sucks getting up at 3:45 and not getting home until 6 pm. And all the local shops around here quoted me an hour/strut so we are talking like over $200 to just put the damm things on.

if you look at my car...thats a full tokico suspension...i have a finger of wheel gap

DSM zero it's almost unfair to post your pics in here man! Is that beast running yet or what? Are ya feelin better back in the states? Your car is beyond impressive! Mike 99gsx just blew me away with the underhood shots! Incredible! Do you drive that thing on the street? How loud is that side exit exhaust? Whats the deal with the rivets (?) around your windshield and side glass? Lexan? I'd love the see better pictures of what you did for the driver's side front clip cutout. 1 vicious gsx! Damn what can I say? This is the first I have seen of your car. Is that a Full race exhaust manifold? How many hours a day do you spend polishing it? That is impressive as hell. By the way I have a 96 Eagle Talon tsi awd that is white with a black top. I don't have any pics downloaded. I'll have to work on that

Thanks I love the new wheels. They are plenty wide enough to support a large tire, and sit just on the inside of flush with the fenders.

old topic, too good to let die. Wow some nice paint in here, Im proud to say my car is black on white, just need a repaint to get that glossy look. Still cant decide on chrome or black wheels, I think that might be too much black. I swap for a 2g bumper, next ill do the rear.
