Which Thermostat Housing?

My engine is a 6 bolt block, with a 2g head. The question I have is which thermostat housing can I use. I have the 3 bolt patteron on the back of the head, opposite the cam side. My 1g unit will not work, possibly because I have a 1g N/T??? If anyone can shed some light on this situation, it would be greatly appreciated. I have uploaded a picture to show you the 3 bolt pattern I need to follow.

Simply put.... 2G Head needs 2G Thermo Housing

Yep, you need to find a 2g turbo thermostat housing for it to work right. Check the classifieds or PM me as I probably have one.

It all depends on what water pipe he is using. You match the thermostat housing with the water pipe. 1g and 2g thermostat housing will bolt to a 2g head.

On my 6 bolt swap I put a 2g head on a 1g block using a 1g water pipe and t-stat housing and it bolted up fine and works great.
