My radio on my 98 GS is broken. The FM dont work at all. I am going to replace the radio. Which one of these radios is better? I have just found these on ebay. Im not going to actually buy one of these exact ones but which model is the best? Are there any more stock CD Players/Radios?

*Its $200 to get my radio that came with the car repaired and like $100 for a junk yard radio and around $600 for a NEW one.

The second one is the better of the two. It looks like the first one has a dealer added CD player. The second one has the Infinty system, but I think you need additional matched components to benefit from the Infinity system, not sure though.

I know I have 2 speakers in the back, 2 speakers on the doors, and 2 tweaters in the front by the mirrors, do I have the Infinty system?

I'm pretty sure the non turbos didn't come with the Infinity systems or have them as an option. Six speakers does not indicate an Infinity system. GS models came with six speakers standard.

Non turbo GS's did come with the Infinity option. My friend's 98 GS has the black Infinity Amp under his passenger seat OMG

The first one is the base radio with a CD added. Where that CD plugs in, you can hook up a remote changer instead. It's a non-Infinity radio.

The second auction is the top-of-the line radio, it has an input for the remote CD changer, and an output for the DIN cable that goes to the amp under the passenger seat. The amps go for almost nothing on eBay. You _may_ have the DIN cable for the remote changer already in the car; Talons didn't, but Eclipses did. I don't know if this applies to the GS. Look for it in the right-rear trunk cubby area, and the power plug should be in the bulb-access hatch in the rear of the trunk.
If you go for an amp- which you'll need in order to run the dash speakers- you may also have to connect the dash speakers. The Talon had wires hooked up to the fronts, but they weren't from the amp, and I've not yet figured out _where_ they were from- trying to track down accurate radio information is becoming a hobby of its own. Very little of it is to be found.

The second radio will work fine without the CD changer (it's a 10 CD unit), and if you hook one up, you can still use the single in the dash (same as a the second-FM bank), which can be kind of handy. The CD changers pull $70-$125 on eBay, with the occasional steal to be had.

All the wiring for the amp should be in the car, look for a large rectangular plug under the passenger seat.
