Which is the cable the cranks the starter solenoid over?

thos both need to be connected. That one you are holding in your hand needs to connect to the main harness.

The Thickest wire is positive + Wire,that goes from the battery. to the back of the starter. And this is the ignition wire...
The thiner then the Positive wire is Ground -,This wire bolts on on the transmission.
The Thinest wire is the one that goes from the ECU. without this wire connected,the starter won't turn. Plus this thinest wire working with the clutch too.If the clutch is not Engaged,the starter won't spin too.

yes the first picture is the wire that comes off the main harness from the starter relay to send the battery voltage to the solenoid but you still need the other connector to complete the circuit

Say if I just connect a 12v to the first wire. Will it turn the solenoid?

where the second wire hooks into the starter if you run a 12v wire from you battery in to there it will make your stater trun over. this is how i have my push botton start hooked up
