What is everything that controls the starter solenoid, Custom swap

97' spyder 4g64 auto swapped to dohc and manual. Used 95' gst engine harness kept spyders power harness and spliced on connector plug from the gst power to connect the two.

Everything's getting power and grounded but the starter solenoid wire is not getting its signal when turning the key all the way.

Since it WAS an auto and I completely removed the TCU and its harness, I assume there is something I need to jump somewhere to tell the car its in park? What harness has the clutch safety switch, is it the power or engine? I assume power, so would the AUTO power harness not have that plug?

Its got to be something simple, please save me a bunch of search/wire tracing.

Also, yes the starter is good and the engine cranks by jumping the solenoid.

Has to do with AT starter relay uses a normally open while MT uses a normally closed. But the easyest solution is to just remove the starter relay and jumper the starter relay's black-red to it's black-yellow.

Was just gonna say the starter relay clicks. I will try that in a second though. Thats the same thing I had to do on one of the bmws for a manual swap, still just have that wire in .

Jumpering it won't allow the theft alarm to disable the starter nor will it require the clutch to be pressed to enable starter. If you must have these pm me.

Naw we dont need that.

I guess I thought the starter relay was the one clicking by the fuses above the clutch pedal, I see now it is under the stereo?

Is it one of the 2 small ones mounted together on the passenger side? If so neither of those are plugged in and I've been wondering about them . I do not see the plugs anywhere though?

hmm I wonder where the plugs are hiding, are they parts of the power harness or engine harness?

It's in the dash harness connector B-57 (5 pin but only 4 wires there).
Note that in your pic the starter relay is actually the one on the left (shown as door lock power relay no. 1 - which is actually the one on the right). These two have always been incorrectly shown as swapped.

I found it earlier no prob, the wire was in its own loom down on the passenger floor. The whole car was apart at one time.
Jumped it and cranks, thanks.

its weird though cause theres another relay in there for the power locks, which are working. so now theres 2 unhooked relays, I'm just going to remove them.
