I just installed my amp for my subs in my 91 Laser... now when I turn the key to the "on" position (NOT start), the starter cranks but it wont start the car. So when I try turning it to Start it just makes that horrible grinding noise of burning out your starter because its already engaged.

I disconnected the power cable to the amp from the battery, still does it. Disconnected all the wiring from the back of the deck, still does it.

It ran fine last night. All I've hooked up today were the amp power cable and ground, remote shutoff from the deck and the RCAs from the deck. Right now none of that is hooked up, its still all screwy.

Any ideas whats wrong?

Well I figured out that problem... when I drilled a hole through the firewall for the power wire the drill hit a couple wires along the back.

There's a black, red, and two yellow-red wires back behind the heater that got hit, I'm not sure if there's more back there or not until I pull everything apart.

Anyways the cranking in on position is fixed now. But now when I turn it to Start there's no fuel pressure, the pump isn't getting power. Does anyone know which one of those wires goes to the fuel pump?

Also whats the easiest way to pull the heater and everything out?
