I wanted to see if anyone knew a good place to have a 16G turbo rebuilt. I'm thinking about picking up a 16G with "minimal" shaft play for $150. The guy that is selling it told me to use gpop shop.

Check the serial numbers to see what kind of 16g it is

After that either pm Jusmx on our forums, he makes AMAZING rebuilds that are known from time and time again to last. He knows what hes doing and personally I would rather send it to him than a random shop you haven't had any experience with.

Also if you want a rebuild kit this is one of the best ones

I used an eBay kit on my old MHI B16g a few years back, worked very well for 15K miles until I sold the turbo and as far as I know its still doing good. very similar package as the one justin linked.
