I have a composite head gasket, how much boost it ok for it. How much Horsepower. Im rebuilding a motor and thinking if I should get a metal one. any suggestions. I found one for 50 should I get it?

the only ones I would use is Cometic or Felpro but thats me
(feplro should be $40 from Checker Auto store)

OMG
Sorry but I'd invest a little bit more money into something as critical as a headgasket. While your at it throw in some ARP headstuds and have no worries from there on out!

Also consider deck height and gasket thickness if your having the head machined. Which you really should if you have blown a headgasket depending on the head deck warpage.

Please save the headache use only the cometic or a mitsu metal, this is inculsive of stock applications too. ARP studs are a must since stock head bolts are torque to yield. ARP's don't cost much more then stock bolts from satan.

Torque to yield means they should only be used once. You should buy new head studs when you do a head gasket.

That being said..i worked for a shop for 3 years that always re-used headbolts (unless they came in the kit from carquest, which was rare) I did 2 or 3 turbo DSM's while i was there, with the composite gasket. FWIW, none ever came back, these are bone stock cars though.

I am not saying to do this, just giving my experiences.

Cometic or Mitsu metel. Remember to replace you timing components while your at it

next to your timming belt the head gasket is the most important thing to upgrade. Personally i have a cometic gasket on my car with ARP head studs and have'nt had any problems. The MLS gasket is a must for anyone who plans to run the car hard and turn up the boost, and honestly we all know we are going to do that or we wouldn't be on this site ;).
