which exhaust is this?

Hi, just got a 98 gsx and ive been searching around for exhausts, and wondering if anybody knew which exhaust this is?

Or, if anybody knows a setup for exhaust/header that could make a sound close to that, i really want a nice low sound, that doesnt make the dumb fart sound. :]

Sounds like a Apex-i N1 to me.. I love the way those sound... I could be wrong though it could be something else, but thats my guess....

Go with Thermal R&D 3" catback, I have this exhaust and it gives out a low sound. At idle it is a little louder than stock and at WOT it really purrs. Just my two cents though and opinion.

I've got a 2.5" RNR O2 Eliminator turbo-back w/ a high-flow cat that's very low & deep. I recently swapped out the muffler w/ a Magnaflow & it is still very low & deep (and just a bit too loud for my taste - but I'm almost 40 yrs old.

Reviews of RNR's customer service have been mixed, though.

Its probably either an HKS or an APEX-i. A little to raspy fo me. Thermal FTW!!!!!

That cant be turbo, ive never heard an exhaust on a turbo DSM that sounded that raspy, definately not HK$, i had one and they are way deeper and more throaty. And all the Apexi exhausts ive heard sound similar to the HK$.

I agree w/ Jeff - that sounds way too raspy & high pitched to be a turbo.
Do a forum search for exhaust sound clips; there's a few of 'em out there.
