I'm going to be getting a DnPerformance tubular manifold in the next week, but I'm having trouble picking which one. I've got a 60-trim from PTE with the adapter plate for the 2G exhaust mani. Should I go for the T3/T4 tubular exhaust manifol? or the standard exhaust manifold and use the adapter plate? both are polished, I assume both are made of the same gauge of stainless steel, but the designs are different. The T3/T4 manifold seems to be more of a long tube design, vs. the standard which seems to have a good bit more curves to it.....

any feedback is appreciated, from experience or otherwise....thanks...

if mods are needed, heres the list....
60 trim w/ .63 AR stage 3, HKS 264i/272e cams, EVO 3 layer metal head gasket, ARP head studs, Spearco 2-216 FMIC w/ short route piping, Greddy type s CBV, 3" tubular SS O2 housing and DP, 660's, walbro 255, 3" N1 exhaust w/ HKS carbon Ti muffler..... theres more, but it doesn't matter for this thread....

If your turbo has a Garrett turbine housing. Then get the header with a Garrett flange.

yeah- i figured that was the obvious choice...;) but, they are 2 different designs, and i was curious if there was an advantage of one design vs. the other....if there isn't, i kinda like the look of the standard manifold over the Garrett manifold....it looks nasty...right JDM?....:D

Yes, sir having mine jet coated was heartbreaking:cry:

I'm sure the same design techniques were used in both and either way, you'll probably get the same performance gains like faster spool up, etc.

If you have a t3/t4 then use the dnp 37 but with your 2g your going to have to get a 1g radiator . Because the upper radiator outlet wont clear the manifold with a hose on it .

any reason in particular?

It keeps your options open if you ever decide to swith to something else. You already have the adapter to make it work, and there won't be clearance problems with the radiator or other things. They'll both flow huge amounts, so I don't think there will be a performance advantage from one to the other.

Here's something to consider... are you making yourself a new O2 housing? I have the t3 one w/ the 40mm external flange(DN-37 is the part number I believe). The manifold pushes the turbo about 4 inches towards the passenger side. I don't have it on yet because I'm still fitting everything, but if you want, I could take a pic of the t3+40mm manifold next to a standard mitsu manifold. It's good for me cause I'm just making my o2 housing and I have more room for the o2 housing.
