couple more qustions:

1) is there any blocks out there that are better?
2) are the 2g gsx parts compatible if i go with the 2.3L stroker?
3) is it better to buy a 1g block?

im aiming for a low 10 sec street car. trying to figure out what i want before i start modding.

any better suggestions?

Look around. 10sec street car can bee done on a stock 6bolt bottom end. While I have seen it, I do not recommend it. The choices you listed are nice. It is up to you to decide on the company. Buschur and SBR will do you right.
