I'm going through a litre every 500 miles. No leaks, no exhaust smoke. compression is 152, 160, 151, 150. New Mitsu pcv valve. No oil in intake pipes. Any theories on where it's going and what I need to do to remedy the situation?

Original turbo? You might want to consider upgrade if so.

Not sure if it's original or not. If the turbo seals were toast shouldn't I expect to see some smoke out the tail or oil in the intake pipes tho? Don't know if it's relevant, but there is no shaft play in the turbo.

Have someone else drive the car while you follow. Do hills, extended idle, and coastdown with the throttle closed followed by acceleration. Look for smoke that doesn't show in the mirror. It's undoubtedly valve stem seals along with a generally tired motor.
