ECMlink Where to start with Speed Density?

I don't want to hijack the post but I have always wanted wanted to go DS I have the stuff to do it but no clue where to start.. I can tune with the MAFT with ECMLink as I have for years.. Where is a good place to read up on learning how to tune via the tables with SD rather than the sliders with MAFT?

There are 50,000 threads here and on ecmlink's site regarding SD setup. Look at those first then ask questions on tweaks.
