Where to purchase Spyder front axles?

Anybody know? I bought my car back in March with a 4G64 Spyder transmission. I didn't know until I broke a right front axle a couple months back. I bought a new right front 2G FWD turbo axle and it was too big. It had 27 splines and the old axle only had 25.

After much aggravation, I ran the vin number on the transmission and that is when I found it to be a Spyder transmission. Upon more research, I found that the AWD 2G right front axle is the same. What about the driver front?

My driver front axle is on its way out and need to find a replacement before it breaks.

Also, why would someone put an Spyder transmission in a 4G63? Gear ratios any different?

EDIT: I just realized the reason I couldn't find the axles at parts stores was because I was asking for an axle from a 95 Spyder. Spyders are only 96-99.

Just ask for an axle for a 4g64 spyder. You can find them at any parts store.

My buddy and i picked up a pair from advance auto a few months ago, nice price for his spyder.

Thanks guys. As I said, I was asking for a 95 Spyder. So now I know where to get them.

I would also like to mention that the right front axle from a 2G AWD will work with the 4G64 Spyder transmission. That is what I bought last night since I was asking for the wrong year Spyder. They are the same part number too.

Why would someone want to use a 4G64 transmission in place of the 4G63 in a FWD 2G 4G63?
