Where to Get this talon parts?

Hi Guys,

I am having problem finding these parts for a 1997 talon. I live in Miami and it looks like the heat has dried out the clips that hold the long bumper that run on the door of the 2gb is like a long line that are on the center of the doors for these cars.Please If anybody know what I am talking about let me know also let me know the name if they have any specific name and where can I buy these parts other than the dealer thanks.

Have you looked on ebay? They are the same as the eclipse.

I just bought mine from the dealer. They weren't too much. I got a full set of clips for the side strakes as I call them for $20. There are 12 for the strakes. And the dealer does NOT have the correct ones. you have to do some slight modification. I just took a dremel and ground the mounting tabs down a tad bit. just do that put some sort of sealer round the edges of the piece its slef when you pop it back in and you should be good to go!

They are almost exactly the same as the Eclipse sideskirt clips. The dealer DOES NOT have the correct ones anymore, they discontinued them years ago. Which is why I said I had to do some modification. Just bring one of the clips in to a local Mitsubishi or Chrysler dealer and say you need 12 of them, and modify the strakes by dremeling out the mounting tab on the part its self like I said.
