I have pictures of my head, Stage 3 SBR, before it went on a few months ago, i'll post them as soon as I get back to the shop after the holidays. Just curious as to the comment about porting JDMAWD, what porting pictures are you talking about? Just want some feedback. AS an employee of the company, I can say we take our motor and head work very seriously, thats what the company started with in the first place.

A local MD DSM enthusiast created a Thread to inquire about head porting. My answer to him was to support his local dsm shop. I don't give a damn about the shit that comes from SLOWBOI.Why wait 10 weeks when he can get a head in 2 from jackson,BJ,Buschur,Polk..ect

Get a clue.

Its really hard to take anything you, JDMawd, post seriously, because it appears you make a concerted effort to be an asshole at every chance you get. I do have a clue, but thanks for your concern. Does anyone else have an opinion that didn't originate in there ass? :thumb:

nathan, dale forrester looked at your companys head porting on my head and basically ripped it apart...pointed out every imperfection and you name it....and it also took me about 2 months to get my head back

Couldn't of been put better...

I had my longblock completely built by EAP (www.engintecs.com) out of Chicago. They do exceptional work. In terms of prep they are extremely detail-oriented and do fanatically meticulous. I have ran the engine they built me for about two and a half months with absolutely no complaints. Their porting is top-notch and they use quality components.
Give them a shot. They are also substantially chaper than any of the damous DSM shops around. As far as experience is concerned they are a ton and it goes beyond the DSM world to seriously weird stuff like Porsches, BMWs, Subaru's and American motors. Their customer service was insane and I can honestly say that I have spent more time with one of their people on the phone than my girlfriend in the last 2 years.

The head specs are:

Ported and polished, 5-angle valve job
Bowl and port match to me gaskets
Crower Springs and TI retainers
PEP Stainless 1mm oversize valves (chrome stems)
5 angle valve job
Viton Stem Seals
The obvious stuff (deck, resurface, etc)

I got my lifters and rockers from them and they assmbled the whole
head with cams and camgears. The only thing that was missing was
a valve cover :)
