I have been trying to find this style of CAS for a long time now, but have had zero luck.

This is not a WTB thread, I just need a point in the right direction, or perhaps some alternative advice.

The problem is, it isn't my car in question. The person that owns it has zero clue how to wire in a 1g CAS and no amount of coaching is helping.

Okay, so if the car is a 96, what kind of CAS is needed? Can you provide a link?

Does it need a crank sensor, and a cam sensor?

95-96 have the Cam Sensor located behind the intake cam sprocket.

All 2g's utilize a Cam Angle Sensor, and a Crank Angle sensor, unless you wire in a 1g CAS, thus eliminating the crank sensor.

PS. Being new, you should utilize the search feature on the pretty red bar at the top of the page. All of this has been covered numerous times.
