where to buy a oil cooler/ kit?

Where to buy a external oil cooler.
I'm getting a new engine and am putting the 90 oil housing on it and want to know where I can buy the oil cooler for it. I can't seem to find them at any of the vendor websites.

Expensive? Just go to your local auto parts store and look at some generic tranny coolers. A well stocked shop should have several sizes. Just look for one with hose barb fittings that match the hose diameter that comes out of the filter housing which is 3/8" ID. IIRC I found several coolers in the $30 to $50 price range, plus a few bucks for hose.

I'm not buying a race motor, just doing a jdm (VR4 engine) swap. My headgasket is blown and my rings are fried and the cylinder walls didn't look too good either.

Tranny coolers KILL oil pressure. Not a good thing. Search through the MANY posts about this and you will find some nice tech.

I got up with diamondstarmotorsport and they emailed me back this quote.

"We can put together a kit with a permacool oil cooler and -6 lines.
I belive with the new 90 housing it's around $190 for the kit.
we can sell the set without the housing also..takes $65 out."

That's the cheapest I found especially with -6 lines. They've never done me wrong, gonna go with this kit.

The Greddy kits are VERY nice, but they are also VERY VERY pricey. Good surface area on them, and come with an adapter to replace the junky junky watercooled setup.

Speaking of that, what's the best material to plug the water holes when going to an air-cooled setup? Epoxy?

for those of you already with the 90 housing......

Is there a place to put the oil feed line for the turbo off the housing in addition to the external cooler, or will i have to change my supply to the head? BTW i am running a new 50 trim in case u didn't see my mods that is why i'm asking about that.

WITH A 90 HOUSING IT DOESNT MATTER, THE OIL COOLER LINES DO NOT AFFECT THE OIL FEED FOR THE TURBO
