Where might I find a single connecting rod for a 97 2.0 non turbo?

Just disassembled the bottome end and found the #1 rod bearing spun. She is going to the machine shop today but I figure I need a new rod, but I am on a super tight budget. Any suggestions would be greatly appretiated.

Yeah, if it's just a spun bearing they can recondition it and resize the big end. You would really only need a new rod if it were trashed/bent.

Getting any of these parts into the machine shop has been a nightmare, they are all backlogged for a month! Crank is trash, reman from autozone is 175. A single rod would be awesome, how would we handle shipping? I think I might be able to convince them to slip the 4 pistons on the rods but anything else would be a hell of a wait. Head is going to a small head shop, that should only take about a week.
