Where does this intake hose connect to?

The two large hoses on the side of the stock intake is what I'm talking about. One connects to the valve cover and the other one came disconnected and from where I don't know? Can someone help me out? Pics too if possible.

charcoal canister, on a 95 it should be under the battery tray. I believe in the later years they relocated it. I believe it is for the fumes. I have mine vented. I got a 3.5" intake pipe with no nipples. Later on I drilled a hole and added an NPT fitting for the VC hose because it does have some vac. I gained 1hg in vac circulating it. As for the charcoal canister, it has been vented for a long while with no problems. Again correct me if I'm wrong it is just fumes.

This is key for smog, but being its under the battery tray, smog techs usually don't notice it, or look. Unless maybe its state ref. Of course leaving the hose from the charcoal canister to nothing is suspicious, thus I have it vented right under the tray.

Oh ok, does this canister look like a blow off valve with 4 adapters on it? There were two hoses I found d/c. One from the intake and one when I followed it back. It's right under the battery tray like you said. So I thought I'd connect the intake hose and the little hose under the battery tray together but then I found that little object I mentioned.
