In the front, by the passenger headlight.

There is a barb down there and that is where this comes from. it is right in front of where the pulley are.

I am sure if someone looks at their car they will see it right away.

Evap canister. It plugs into your intake manifold and if I'm not mistaken, I think there's a check valve that is on the hose that goes from the intake manifold to the metal vac line that runs over the valve cover to connect to the hose you pictured. But it does connect to your intake manifold. It's supposed to connect to the fitting that has 3 vac nipples (one big and two smaller ones). Do you have a vac leak from there since that hose isn't connected? Check it out.

I will take a look, but I am sure there is no line going across the valve cover. PO must have done something wrong.

Edit: Well, I have a problem. The 3 nipple thing in the back of the manifold only has the EGR thing plugged in. The other two are gone (don't have cruise control or the FPR on the rail) so I don't think that hose goes there. Where else could it go?

The main problem is that I don't have a line between the timing belt and the valve cover. So what is that supposed to be and where does it go?
