Where does this cable hook up to (behind plastic panel, inside of the hatch)

I was doing some work in the hatch and found this wire dangling around, it's behind the middle panel between the tail lights. Where does it go? Its a single wire with the connection similar to the oil pressure wire.

There's not that many options back there. Either a light (tail or interior), rear window heater, or rear washer pump. The latter being my inclination given the placement of the wiring. Lift up the spare tire cover and see what you find. (That's my best guess, my hatch has been bare for ages)

That is for the hatch open light for your dash. On the hatch latch, there should be a stud on the bottom left (driver side). It connects there for your dash light.

My dash light does turn on when I open the hatch, so does the interior hatch light and my taillights work fine. I am installing the reservoir but non of the connections match nor does the wire reach any of them, weird.
