Where do you guys get your oil, water pump from?

Need to get oil and water pump. So I called up Mitsubishi and they say the oil pump has been discontinued, which I do believe cause our cars are pretty old. For the water pump they do have it but it's around $160. I checked STM and they have the water pump for around the same price, but their oil pump is $370 . Any where else I should be looking? Thanks

Id assume out of the weep hole because Autozone sells junk pumps

AutoZone has burned me with crappy parts too many times. 1st choice is dealer, then NAPA and last resort is Checker.

I only use OEM oil pumps. I trust autozone waterpumps though.

I will need the whole front case assembly and oil pump(gears and all). I had bad experiences with non OEM oil pumps and never doing that again. If I could do everything in my car OEM I would, but sometimes it really hurts on how much these parts cost.

My motto is do it once, do it right. OEM parts may cost more but in some cases if you get an inferior quality aftermarket part to save a few bucks it could end up costing you alot more in the long run if it fails & say, takes out a motor.

Both these OEM parts should still be available, your dealer doesn't know what their talking about

JNZ has great pricing on OEM parts & top notch service from my experience. Extremepsi is also another great source.

JNZ for oil pump, and Autozone for water pump just can't beat lifetime warranty.
