Where can I get a STOCK SIZED downpipe?

I am looking for a new downpipe for my 91 GSX.

The exhuast is stock and I plan on keeping it that way for now.

The flex pipe is shot and I rather just replace the downpipe to the cat.

I cannot find a stock downpipe for beans. They are all 3 inch. I just need one that will bolt up to stock piping.

Anyone have a used one they wanna sell?

I would check some salvage/junk yards. Hard to find a turbo car there though. If not check your local craigslist.

Also you could try to get an exhaust shop to fab one up using the old flange.

so no aftermarket company makes one with stock outlet size? or is piped 3inch but can bolt to a 2.5?

ok assuming that I want to replace the whole exhaust?

do I NEED to replace the cat with a 3 inch cat?

I assume if I don't I will be stuck at square 1 trying to find a downpipe with a 3 inch outlet.


Will I trip a CEL if I go catless? are there any mods to stop the CEL when going catless?

i wouldnt think so if you didnt even have a sensor on there but i dont have an exhaust i am going straight from the downpipe on my car but i am looking at getting a full exhaust on there so i am using a 2.5" downpipe i want a 3" but i cant find a full turbo back exhaust and have you checked ebay????

And yes you would have to replace the cat it would be a FULL exhaust so from the turbo back would be 3"

Napa sells one....i replaced my whole exhaust through Napa.
