where can i get a good used engine?

Valve seals went and i need a new engine, delaership said they will replace it for free if i buy a new engine, so i am looking for reputable places with GOOD engines that wont go bad on me, HELP!

i just feel like this engine is shit, its not the original engine, and its happened before with this same engine

Why is it eating valve seals? Bad guides or something unknown? Seals are not hard to replace, with the proper tools, which we all need to have on hand for these cars.

Perhaps you just need the head rebuilt to replace the valves, guides, and seals.

Well the issue here that i have is when it happened the first time i brought it to the dealership just to finish it and they apparently rebuilt it from the head up, not even 10 miles more on the car and its doing it again so i brought it back and all they said they would do is engine swap it for free if i buy a new engine.

I really want this car done with and i cant put anymore money into it, i am really considering opening up a civil suit case against this dealership.

Dealership or shop? Sounds more like some sketchy shop.

If they rebuilt the head properly the valve stems wouldn't be bad in 10 miles. Post their bill from the "rebuild".

I know that Steve from Miller Import Parts sells used engines. Contact him he might be able to help you he's a vendor on here.

Civil suit would be more costly than the car, and if you mention suing to them they'll probably stop talking to you all together. Try to get them to stand behind their work. I'd like to hear how they think a new shortblock is going to solve the problem of valve seals failing after 10 miles.

Depebding on how much you want to spend. And weather or not you have a spare block head etc..

Other than that millar import and just keep your eyes open on the classifieds.

But i think you should have them actually rebuild the head. There is no reason it should do that.
