Yes I do, and I plan on keeping my license and car registered in PA at my parents house so they can't touch me. And when the day comes that ill have to switch it over, I have another solution up my sleeve

Good answer, i was hoping you would say that.

Update, my son Jack is doing great and will hopefully be coming home in a couple weeks or so. I haven't taken any pictures recently but here are a couple from the first week that we took with the actual camera. Anyone that has hung out with me knows i rock an old school style phone and the camera on it is a joke.

Also big props to my buddies Charlie and Matt Cochran and Matt V. for helping get a ton of work don on my garage this weekend. It's already making a huge difference. I really need to carry my camera around with me more i guess.

Still haven't had a chance to try to figure out the laser yet. I feel bad for putting it on the back burner.

Matt came over the other night and we put his spark plug wires on my car and it started running on all four cylinders. He took them to work to ohm them out and they checked out ok, so I'm going to try putting my old wires back on when he gets back from the Showdown in NJ. If the problem comes back then I'm ordering a set of wires. Of course i lost the keys of my locking hood pins so once the car started running ok i couldn't take it for a spin.

Got my 4 bolt swap waiting to be put on now and got a catch can on its way along with new clutch master cylinder and stainless line. And new clutch to put on. Cant wait to have everything on!

I guess I'll update..

- Got 70 miles as of yesterday...
- Compression as of yesterday was 159-157-159-158..
- Ported the FFofh and turned out great. Dropped my oil pressure at cruise by 20-30psi. Idle is around 20 and cruise is now around 40-50psi compared to 80 psi..
- Got full 3" turboback exhaust installed, but need's a flex and some TLC to make it right.
- Got rear Ksports on just because it took 5 minutes. They have to come off again when I put the 4 bolt in.
- Installed Wilson 75mm TB
-Got helmet,harness, jacket, gloves.. :0

I still gotta:

- Drop in 4 bolt..
- Drop in 1650s
- Fix exhaust
-Change driver front axle
- Figure out why the hell I have a horrible decel noise/vibration in drivetrain
- Pull VC and see if I have a collapsed lifter.. I have this wierd clanking noise upon statup but goes away when warm. Im thinking it's a bad lifter or piston slap.


I can finally hear my engine and what it's doing with the exhaust installed. I know am hearing this clanking noise when I first start her up that is coming from under the VC. I think this is tied to that tap I hear when i shut the car down, but I'm not gonna know anything unless I dig a little deeper. It may just be the way the car is.. but it isnt going hurt to pull the VC.

Well what happens is all the cops like to chill behind my house and until now have either pulled me over or got up on my ass even on the weekend. I guess its the fuel cell and lack of exhaust the draws there attention.

Sounds great Adam, looks like more of your hard work has been paying off. I don't think that your noise after you shut your car off is related to the tap during start up, cause my car has the same noise when i shut mine off and then duplicates there after if your press on the timing belt, but i have no weird noises during start up. As for your noise on decel, i have a noise like that as well that i remember being there since i bought the car. No problems yet and it has not gotten any better or worse, so i chock it up to be normal for a highly modded twenty year old car. I wouldn't worry about the cops now that you have an exhaust. Your car should blend in pretty well other than the fuel cell, but there is nothing illegal about that even with out Historic plates.
I need to find my hood pin keys tomorrow or I'm ordering a new set so that i can drive my car.
