wish i had more money and a place to store cars:( Two cars on CR that id pick up. 98 Spider GST(AWD swap would be done) and a 92 GSX shell. No motor, trans or transfer case. 4 bolt rear though:)
 
Looks like opening day at Capitol for test and tune is Sunday March 3rd. The next after that is the 11th. That's a better date for me and what I'm shooting for. I gotta get this thing dialed in, get the rear Ksports on, and 4bolt swapped in still. Import face-off is April 1st and it would be nice to have a couple DSM's there....
 
I DD my car. I try to keep everything im doing to it small and able to be completed within a day. That is intill i get my mazda back on the road. Then thats a diff story
 
After having the my stock block put together, I decided to change some things out. My car is planned to be back out for march 1, when the track opens. This year, i'm going to focus on just driving the car. Next year, wedding permiting i'll do the auto sway, with AEM 2.
 
Oh yeah, operation "top mount" is in the works! I get all my pipe tomorrow, it's going to match the setup perfectly :) Although it is my first time making a top mount, so we'll see how well it goes. . .

That's awesome Ryan. I think I am going to be doing something similar next season.. I have some things in mind that I want to try, but for now it's trying to get this build deep in the 10's. I just have wierd felling my drivetrain isnt going to let me get to far. I can't afford a Dogbox, and I hate to think about jumping on the auto bandwagon yet. Im gonna try and break a few tranny's and t-case's first.
 
Lol Good enough. Finally got the VRSF install complete. Did some tuning. She feels soooo much better with the front mount. No meth injection at the moment. But I feel as soon as thats on shell be even faster. And when the NOS gets on hello some time slips that will make my v8 friends jealus of my 4 banger:)
 
Just have to get the fuel changed and tires on and would like to get this other turbo installed that I'm currently building that may not be done in time, it's only slightly bigger

Thanks, and I hear ya, after this build, and buying a house, I can't afford a dogbox either :/. I have a feeling my tranny/tcase is not going to last with this setup for very long LOL.
 
Anybody local interested in a pretty clean set of gsx rims with pretty new hankooks on them? I have to bite the bullet and get some drag radials or something. 11s on the 18s is good but need something different. Let me know!
 
Im suppost to be going to the nascar race on the first, but might have to cancel to run ifo. Depends on if i can tune it any better and get some different wheels. Looking at the calender today, seems like every event i wanna go to happens to be right around something else i planed on taking off work for, so i guess the car needs to keep getting better to make me wanna race. Need you to get home so i can measure out your cage because im thinking i might need it right outta the box... ;)
 
Ill be home in a few days. Im sure I'm not going to put up any numbers at IFO, but at least I can try and put forth and effort. I need the seat time more than anything. If I don't break and get to have some fun, ill be happy. You can run the 11.5 index and probably kill it until you get the cage in.
 
Haha..I hear you. I have nothing but a idling car and still working on cruise, so your way ahead of me :D Gotta make sure I can make the drive down to Capitol..haha
I gotta swap injectors to the 1650's and once I'm dialed in again, its time for some WOT pulls...My asshole can't wait!
