When should I change my ECU?

I have got all of the bolt ons (headers, exhaust, intake) I was thinking before I get some cams maybe do the AFx ecu since I dont think Im educated enough with the megasquirt. Or should i just go ahead and do some crower stage 2s?

I have an AF/X computer for a 95 that I don't need anymore if you really want one.

When should I change my ECU?

As soon as possible. It is the biggest obstacle to overcome for our cars.
